FAA member artists are invited to submit entries for an exhibit at our gallery in downtown Frankfort.

This exhibit will inspire visitors to Believe in the magic of winter and to find hope in the darkest of times. It will be a reminder that even when the world seems cold and unforgiving, there is always beauty to be found.

GUIDELINES:​

• FAA member artists may submit one original work to be included in the show.

• Most subjects, styles, and techniques will be accepted, from realistic to abstract – figures, landscapes, architecture, animals, design, observations, inventions, transformations, symbols, etc. 

• Submitted works can be in any medium, 2D or 3D, except for video.

• Hanging works must be no larger than 40" x 40" without prior permission.

• Non-hanging 3D works may be any size provided it fits well in the gallery either free-standing or on a pedestal.

• Unless you hear otherwise, consider your entry accepted for the members' show.

RULES: 

• The exhibit is open to active FAA Member Artists.

 By OCTOBER 23, 2023:

• In order to participate in this exhibit, member artists must complete the online entry form below and upload a jpeg of their artwork.

• Your image will be used on the FAA website where buyers can purchase your artwork. If your piece is Not for Sale, the photo may still be on the website but marked as such.

• 2-dimensional work must be properly wired and ready to hang; no sawtooth hangers, please. Work should be framed unless done on gallery-wrapped canvas. Wrapped edges must be finished.

• Curators reserve the right to refuse work that does not meet the requirements or is considered too fragile for the exhibit.

• All work remains on exhibit for the duration of the show. If purchased, the piece will remain in place until the show has ended and arrangements will be made for pick-up by the purchaser. 

• Unless requested otherwise by the artist, permission is given to the FAA to use any images of exhibited work for publicity or educational purposes.  

FEES AND COMMISSION:

• There is a nonrefundable $10 fee to participate. After submitting your entry, make your payment.

• FAA collects 30% of the sale price of each work sold during the run of the show.

• Work may be marked as Not for Sale.

Exhibit dates: November 2, 2023 - January 7, 2024

Deadline for entries: Monday, October 23, 2023

Delivery of entries: Monday, October 30, 2023 by appointment

Loan and consignment forms due: At time of art delivery (see below)

Opening Reception: November 2, 2023 from 6:00 - 7:30 PM

Final day of exhibit on view: January 7, 2024

Date for pick-up of exhibited work: Monday, January 8, 2024
