FAA at Frankfort Village Hall:
Into the Light
APRIL 8 – JULY 8, 2021

Call for Art
Frankfort Arts Association member artists who are residents of Frankfort are invited to submit entries for an exhibit in the Frankfort Village Hall.

The long periods of isolation due to the pandemic and a cold and snowy winter, give way in the spring and as we make our way toward recovery from the virus. We are starting to see the "light at the end of the tunnel." Even in the uncertainty and darkness that has surrounded us for over a year, the sun still comes out and new life bursts into view. These glimmers of hope are cause for celebration and help us move into the light.
GUIDELINES:
Artists may submit one work.
Most subjects, styles, and techniques will be accepted, from realistic to abstract – figures, landscapes, architecture, animals, design, observations, inventions, transformations, symbols, etc. The Village requests that nothing overtly political or controversial be displayed.
Submitted works can be in any medium, but must be wired and able to hang from a hook on the wall.
All sizes and formats will be accepted.
Artists are responsible for providing their own insurance if desired. Neither FAA nor the Village will insure loss or damage of work. A loan agreement containing this stipulation must be signed and provided to FAA when dropping off your work.
RULES:
The exhibit is open to active FAA Member Artists who reside in Frankfort, IL
By MARCH 23, 2021

Curators reserve the right to refuse work that does not meet the requirements or is considered too fragile for the exhibit.
All work remains on exhibit for the duration of the show. If purchased, the piece will hang until the show has ended and arrangements will be made for pick-up by the purchaser.
Unless requested otherwise by the artist, permission is given to the FAA to use any images of exhibited work for publicity or educational purposes.
