FAA at Studio C:
Spectral Splendor
JANUARY 16 - FEBRUARY 23, 2025
Call for Art
FAA member artists are invited to submit entries for an exhibit at our gallery in downtown Frankfort inside Studio C.

Immerse yourself in the vibrant world of color. ‘Spectral Splendor’ invites artists to explore the prismatic spectrum, capturing the essence of light, hue, and shade. From the subtle gradations of dawn to the bold intensity of a kaleidoscope, show us how color transforms your vision into art. Submit your work and let your creativity shine in this radiant celebration of color.

Here are some examples of artworks that artists might submit for "Spectral Splendor":
-
Colorful Reflections on Water – An abstract painting capturing the shifting colors of light on water.
-
Morning or Dusk – A landscape that showcases a specific time of day, focusing on color shifts.
-
Kaleidoscopic Still Life – Everyday objects painted with vibrant, prismatic colors, as if seen through a kaleidoscope.
-
Portrait with Prism Effects – A portrait where colors fragment like a prism, bringing new life to the subject’s expression.
-
Nature's Color Spectrum – A field of wildflowers or a forest scene, with each element in a distinct hue to emphasize natural variety.
