The Frankfort Arts Association will host our Second Annual Student Art Show. Student artists can submit one piece for the exhibition. The student must be in the K-12 age range. All submitted artwork must be framed and have a wire hanger so it can be hung on the track and be no larger than 20” x 20”.

GUIDELINES:​

• Artists may submit one work.

  
  

• Most subjects, styles, and techniques will be accepted, from realistic to abstract – figures, landscapes, architecture, animals, design, observations, inventions, transformations, symbols, etc. The Village requests that nothing overtly political or controversial be displayed.

  
  

• Submitted works can be in any medium, but

  must be wired and able to hang from a hook on the wall

  ​

• Due to the limited space, entries must be

  no larger than 20" x  20" including the frame.

  
  

• Artists are responsible for providing their own insurance if desired. Neither FAA nor the Village will insure loss or damage of work. A loan agreement containing this stipulation must be signed and provided to FAA when dropping off your work. 

  
  

RULES: ​

 By APRIL 4, 2023:

• In order to participate in this exhibit, artists must complete the online entry form below and upload a jpeg of their artwork.

  
  

• Your image may be used on the FAA website and social media to promote the exhibit.

  
  

• Work must be properly wired and ready to hang; 

  no sawtooth hangers, please. Work should be framed unless done on gallery-wrapped canvas. Wrapped edges must be finished.

  
  

• Curators reserve the right to refuse work that does not meet the requirements or is considered too fragile for the exhibit.

  
  

• All work remains on exhibit for the duration of the show.

• There is no fee for this show.

Exhibit dates:  April 13 - July 13, 2023

Deadline for entries:  April 4, 2023

Delivery of entries: Tuesday, April 11, 2023 at 10:00-11:00am or 4:00-5:00pm

Loan agreement due: At the time of art delivery

Opening Reception: April 13, 2023, 6:00-7:30 pm

Final day of exhibit on view: July 13, 2023

Date for pick-up of exhibited work: July 14, 2023
