Service Description

Discover the art of oil or pastel painting in this six-week course, guided by esteemed artist John Tylk. Starting on the second Tuesday in May, you'll delve into techniques that will enhance your painting skills in the medium of your choice. Whether you're drawn to the lush textures of oil paint or the vibrant hues of pastels, this class is designed to foster your creativity in a supportive environment. All levels are welcome. Students will paint from their own photo references or simple still lifes. Please bring a sample of your work to the first session. Materials: Students must provide their own. Oil Painting: Canvas, palette, assorted brush sizes, titanium white, cadmium yellow light, yellow ochre, cadmium red light, alizarin crimson, burnt umber, burnt sienna, viridian, cerulean blue, ultramarine blue, ivory black. White St, Frankfort Ages: All Ages Minimum Students: 6 Maximum Students: 12 Price Per Student: $240* 30% of the fee goes to support Frankfort Arts Association, a 501(c)(3) charity organization. *Members of Frankfort Arts Association receive a 5% discount by entering the code MEMBER at checkout.
