Resonance Scholarship Birdhouses
Experience the full collection of Resonance: Vibrant Visions for Artistic Futures in person at Underground, where artist-transformed birdhouses are on display throughout the exhibition.
Each birdhouse, handcrafted by Mark Adams of Thistle Woodshop, begins as a sturdy, functional object and is reimagined by local artists into a unique work of art—playful, expressive, and deeply individual. These pieces invite you to look closer, offering surprising detail, craftsmanship, and creative interpretation from every angle.
While photographs of the collection are exhibited at Frankfort Village Hall, the physical works themselves can only be experienced at Underground.
All pieces are part of an online auction, with proceeds supporting the Resonance Scholarship, benefiting a Frankfort student pursuing a degree in the arts.

Duality
A Juried Art Exhibit at Studio C
Every story has two sides.
Duality features artwork that explores contrast and balance — light and dark, calm and chaos, natural and manmade, strength and fragility. Through a wide range of styles and subjects, artists examine how opposing forces shape the way we see and experience the world.
From landscapes and portraits to abstract and sculptural works, this exhibit invites viewers to consider where tension exists — and where harmony can be found.

Elemental
Elemental explores the forces that shape our world — earth, air, fire, and water — through the eyes of local artists.
The exhibit features a wide range of work inspired by nature’s movement, texture, and energy. Visitors will see flowing water, shifting skies, and landscapes shaped by time, along with detailed studies of organic forms and natural patterns.
Some pieces capture the quiet stillness of a shoreline or forest, while others focus on motion, atmosphere, and transformation. Together, they highlight both the power and subtlety of the elements that surround us every day.
