We’re excited to invite you to join a new opportunity just for area artists— a casual plein air painting group led by FAA artist Marjorie Boyd!
Plein Air Group – Every Other Monday, Starting June 1, 2026
Inspired by a similar group she paints with in Florida, Marjorie is organizing an easygoing local version. The focus is on enjoying the process of painting outdoors — no instruction, no pressure — just creativity, fresh air, and good company.
How It Works:

Meets every other Monday, beginning June 1, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM

FIRST meet-up spot: Breidert Green in downtown Frankfort

After a brief gathering, artists can spread out nearby — think parks, charming streets, and scenic corners around town

Around noon, everyone regroups to share what they’ve been working on

What to Bring:
