Meetups are informal, member-led gatherings that encourage connection and creativity. They may include demos, sketching sessions, open studios, social time, or small community projects. Meetups must remain free, and hosts are not compensated. They are a great way to bring members together and strengthen our creative community.
Who can lead this?
Current FAA members who are friendly, reliable, and able to welcome attendees and close the space.
What FAA provides
Space access (when at Underground), light promotional support, and a donation box for FAA programs.
What you provide
A simple meetup idea, any needed supplies, hosting, setup, cleanup, and a photo or brief recap when possible.
Money & Limits
Meetups must be free. Hosts cannot be paid or accept tips. Any donations go to FAA programs.
